Rhythmic/Urban Radio Update (1/13/16)

In 2016, we are expanding our news coverage to more industry coverage here at Fashionably-Early. That includes a look at the radio charts, and multiple times a month we will be giving coverage of the top 10 & big movers on the charts, impacting songs, and the most added songs for both rhythmic and urban radio formats.

For the first ‘official’ radio week of 2016, we see some big movements from songs from Currensy, Jeremih, Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, Chris Brown, Yo Gotti, Justin Bieber, G-Eazy, & others. On the impact and adds front, Belly‘s new single with The Weeknd is destined to be a smash, and it Bryson Tiller‘s ‘Exchange’ has a huge opening week with 34 adds on urban radio and looks to go from a viral hit to a bonafide smash single. This one might surpass ‘Don’t’.
