Kendrick Lamar’s ‘good kid, m.A.A.d. city’ Debuts 2nd on Billboard

While it was nearly impossible to top Taylor Swift, who got the number one spot this week with 1.2 million copies sold, Kendrick still sold way more than expected, as he landed at number 2 with 242k copies sold his first week. I wouldn’t expect Kendrick’s sales to stay up that high, but I think gold by the end of the year is definitely possible with all the praise the album is getting.
