Caught this in the inbox and I was once again happy to find someone new that’s giving Long Island a good name. With Nitty Scott and DJ JS-1 both assisting on this one, it would have taken a lot for this to be a flop. I do have one huge gripe with this song, this fucking hook is horrible. I’m sorry, the terrible autotune pitching and honestly it just doesn’t fit in the song. Use JS-1’s cuts as the hook. On the bright side, Syler brings forth his lyrics with a nice intensity. This song has it’s mainstream qualities and it’s purer hip-hop qualities. Ultimately, he has the early Outasight sound but Syler is definitely still perfecting his sound.
