Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’ Sets Record For Radio Audience

Robin Thicke’s new single ‘Blurred Lines’ has been #1 on the charts for the last seven weeks, and the single alone sold nearly half a million copies in the last week, but Interscope released a press release stating an even bigger accomplishment. The press released state that ‘Blurred Lines’ has “broken the record for the highest radio audience ever recorded. As of this week, the track has reached more than 242.65 million listeners.” The old record was 188.8 million. Crazy how successful this song is, as it has been reported that the song is even getting spins on COUNTRY radio stations. Let that sink in for you. Robin Thicke, Pharrell, & TI getting played on country radio stations. Thicke’s new album of the same name as the song, Blurred Lines, drops this Tuesday (7/30).
