If the rap game in 2013 needed something, it’s definitely an Onxy-inspired track like “Mawb on Site.” I’m not too familiar with the Brooklyn MC Wati Heru, but his latest track has me thinking a lot about Joey Badass’ video, “Survival Tactics.” Beyond the city they rep, there isn’t too many comparisons to be made between either Heru or Badass, but it definitely feels like Heru’s “Mawb on Site” is poised to balloon up in views, and eventually ‘blow up,’ akin to what “Survival Tactics” did.
Above all that, though, I gotta say that this was a great track laced with some live visuals. Heru seems like he’s gonna be dropping a lot more work in the near future, so keep an eye out for his music.
