This is some cold and grimy NYC rap. $ha Hef reminds me a bit of Boldy James, which makes me wonder how he’s going to hold up over time, as an artist — even though “Earth is My Turf” is truly on some other shit as far as the entire sound and atmosphere goes, I wonder how $ha Hef is going to last over an entire project. I love this though, NYC needs some more rugged street rappers right now.
I’ll be making sure to post up $ha Hef’s next project, Mafioso Psalms, which should drop in the near future.
It’s black hoody season, and the coldest music is coming out right now; Fall/Winter 2013 is looking very promising.
