Mixtapes in 2013 were pretty disappointing from ‘big’ artists. Meek flopped with Dreamchasers 3, Wayne could of kept Dedication 5, Chief Keef really didn’t drop a coherent song on any of his releases this year, and I could go on. Thankfully, I am on a never ending search for talent and mixtapes let me find those talented R&B artists and new bangers. Out of the 15 projects that made my top 15, I would say I was fully in sync with seven or eight of the artists, with me not even knowing about probably three or four of the artists. You may of not been as tuned into the mixtape scene beyond the big releases this year, so let me catch you up with my top 15 mixtapes of 2013.
