I’ll be the first to say that I’m not normally a fan of mashups but Amerigo Gazaway is incredible and this track is incredible. He took Marvin Gaye’s “Inner City Blues”, already a heavily sampled tune and grabbed Mos Def’s a capella from “Travellin’ Man” with DJ Honda and put ’em together. Actually, don’t think of it as a mash up, it’s more of a remix. Amerigo is releasing the project Yasiin Bey on February 25th.
