Alex Wiley has surprised me a ton with all the single releases from Village Party. Wiley has been on my radar for a while and he has cooked up some dope tracks in the past, but something was missing. But I think with Village Party, Wiley has put everything together and now he’s ready to reach the masses. The project features 14 tracks and with it only being 44 minutes, it should be an easy listen for a new listener that is on the fringe of listening. There are only two features on the project, two from KEMBE X & one from Mick Jenkins, while production is handled by Odd Couple, THEMpeople, Kito, Stefan Ponce, Hippie Sabotage, and others. Give this a listen, just trust me.
