We posted Hef’s video “Earth is My Turf” late last year, so I’ve been anticipating a full project from him for a minute now. 16 tracks long, Mafioso Psalms will essentially be Hef’s first exposure to the masses after having kept a fairly low profile following the release of “Earth is My Turf.”
If his videos or mixtape cover didn’t already tip you off, $ha Hef’s music boasts a harder edge than most of his contemporaries — Hef is much closer to a Roc Marciano or Boldy James sound, rather than an Action Bronson or Flatbush Zombies sound. I don’t expect anything other than cold, NYC street raps for the entire duration of Mafioso Psalms.
