Kid Ink is prepping to drop a new single after Labor Day again this year, with him stating the success with ‘Show Me’ being a big reason why. The single is titled ‘Body Language’ & will serve as the first single from his sophomore album. The single is set to feature a ‘big name’, and also has a beat done by Cashmere Cat & Stargate. This really has hit written all over it.
“Last year, we dropped ‘Show Me’ the day after Labor Day Weekend,” Ink told MTV News, referencing his breakout single. “So I found it a great occasion to keep things rolling and kick off my next wave.”
“We had an amazing ride following the success of ‘Show Me,’ as well as the follow up ‘Main Chick’ — both records were with DJ Mustard and Chris Brown,” the Alumni rapper’s manager, ill Will, said. “I am super excited about this new single, because it will show that Ink is a true hit-maker and will continue to be a part of hit records regardless who the supporting cast is.”
