Last week, two major hip-hop releases were released, as Logic released his debut album Under Pressure and T.I. released his 9th studio album, Paperwork. The first week sales are in, and one artist had a great first week while the other had a rather disappointing one. T.I. debuted #3 with 74,197, which is quite disappointing considering his last album Trouble Man sold just under 180k copies in its first week with far less promotion and no single as big as the ones T.I. has now. On the other hand, Logic debuted #4 with 71,511 albums sold. You can assume T.I. will have more long-term sales based on his track-record and hit records, but you can’t discredit Logic‘s first week sales.
