15. Black Milk – If There’s A Hell Below

BLack Milk

This record took me by surprise because Black Milk had already just dropped another great album last year. He dropped this album about 12 months later and it’s just as good as the last. Milk solidifies his prowess on the beats and he further pushes the envelope on his rhymes, his known weakness. To me, this is probably the best emceeing I’ve heard from Milk on an album of his so it’s a great step.

14. String Theory – String Theory

String Theory

String Theory is the duo of Hex-One on the rhymes and BBZ Darney on the breaks. Hex is a vicious spitter with a rapid flow and good wordplay. It’s obvious the man can rap. My only issue with the guy is just that, he’s got to work a little more on crafting songs but he’s getting there. This project was a step in the right direction and it also took him away from his rapping partner Tek-nition, who form Epidemic. Overall, it’s a nice listen that’s been in rotation since its release.
