Lil Wayne & Birdman‘s public dispute continues, as TMZ reports that Wayne is set to file a lawsuit for $8 million in dues and also a release from his Cash Money Records contract. Wayne said that his contract was violated when Birdman refused to release his Carter V album, as well as paying Wayne his advance for the album. While we wait for the Carter V. EDIT: TMZ obtained the lawsuit for this case, & the original number is off by a little bit. Wayne is actually suing Birdman for $51M. Wayne is also looking for joint-ownership of the copyrights of Young Money recordings, which include Drake, Nicki Minaj, Tyga, & many others.
