When I first heard this beat kick in, I had a feeling it was some dope underground guy who produced it. I initially thought it was Audible Doctor but it was actually, Calvin Valentine a.k.a G_Force. Been a fan of the man for a while from his stuff with TxE, his project with Planet Asia and much more.
Somehow, he got this beat along to De La Soul and they also got Nas on it. That’s got to be a dream come true. This is something that won’t be on the upcoming De La Soul album, which may speak to how strong that album is because this song is dope.
