A lot of Harlem emcees like to flaunt and really bathe in the luxury that’s come with the rap life but Vordul Mega and Vast Aire have always been the opposite of that. Their 2001 LP The Cold Vein became a classic in hip hop because of its bleak, brutally honestly mentality of life in New York. They released their 2nd album a mere 14 years later and still that mentality is there and it’s proof in this new music video. It gives us shots of bodegas, police precincts, public transit and so much more. Their not those “knights in shining armor”, they’re the knights doing the dirty work, not afraid to get blood on the suit to get the job done.
