Apple Music Streams Are Worth 33% More Than Other Streaming Services

Apple Music is still in its trial run, but it is still paying out 33% more than other streaming services like Pandora, Spotify, and others. According to CD Baby, whenever a listener in the United States streams one of your original songs on Apple Music, you earn 33% more in publishing royalties then you would on other streaming services. Apple Music is paying out 13.5% of their total revenue, while most streaming services only pay 10.5%. While obviously the numbers are still low, it is promising seeing Apple Music‘s numbers ahead of the game while still in its trial run. Streaming is the future, whether you like it or not, and this is a step in the right direction.
