Soundcloud Diggin Ep. 10 1/31/16

Welcome to episode 10 of our Soundcloud Diggin series. We have some very, very interesting songs on this list that are from around the globe. We hope you find some new gems on this list. Check out episode 10 below.

Milly James teamed up with DJ Raw Sugar for a four track collaborative EP titled Submarine, and this weekend I am showcasing the title track from the EP. The track is very downbeat and expansive, and that’s the ton that you’ll get throughout the whole EP from these two. We’re definitely the first blog to cover this duo, living up to our name of course. – malbin

We’re headed out to Russia for this one. The Sea Radio trio has a fantastic gem titled ‘Don’t Clap’ hiding on their Soundcloud page that needs to be heard.I hate to make comparisons, but if you love Majid Jordan, you’ll probably want to give this group a listen. It has house music influences with haunting vocals that are almost unrecognizable. Vibe out to this dope sound now. – malbin

San Salvador, El Salvador native AR Ferdinand teamed up with Harriet Brown for this single ‘As You Wish’. The genre mixing single has serious widespread potential with its relaxed, uptempo production and chilling vocals. After doing some digging, AR has an instrumental that has 200k+ streams on Spotify and a Soundcloud full of relaxing gems that are must adds to any “chill” playlists you have. – malbin

WDL’s ‘Hurricane Highlife’ sounds like pop in the future. The track progressively gets bigger and bigger as the song gets closer to the end, with an orchestra spewing all over the cinematic hook. The vocals feel like they are just floating over the production that feels ready for a whole crowd going crazy to. With an apparent affiliation to SONY Records, this song has the potential to reach its potential. – malbin
