TIDAL Reveals Streaming Numbers For Kanye West’s ‘The Life of Pablo’

TIDAL has been picky with releasing streaming numbers for Kanye West‘s new album The Life of Pablo, but today the streaming service announced their latest subscription update and also revealed the streaming numbers for TLOP. TIDAL reports they now have 3.5M paying subscribers – with 1.35M of those paying for the $19.99 plan. TIDAL has grown by over 2.5M subscribers in it’s first year available in the United States, and quietly those numbers are huge. Not to mention, the $19.99 subscribers are equivalent to two subscribers on any other service (not factoring in family plans or student accounts).

According to TIDAL, The Life Of Pablo was streaming 250M times (!!!) in the first ten days of the album’s release. Those numbers are HUGE. 25M streams a day for the first 10 days is remarkable. With it’s current number of subscribers, every subscriber would have had to listen to at least eight tracks each day. Obviously, some people probably listened to the whole 19 song album multiple times.

‘Famous’ was just released as the lead single from the album, and is now available on Apple Music & Spotify.
