Jamila Woods is a soulful Chicago singer who’s worked with the likes of Chance The Rapper, Macklemore and many others. The big features need to only serve as an introduction to her, a good enough introduction that’ll hopefully lead the people to brilliant solo work like this new song “Heavn”. The soul drenched is heavenly, yet very down at home at the same time. The song plays off of The Cure‘s “Just Like Heaven” but flips it into a new genre and a new sound.
