There’s a good chance you don’t know Scottish singer Connor Pearson just yet but that will change either now, or even if you ignore this post, he’s going to come across your radar numerous more times to come.
I’ve been waiting on this kid to release more music ever since I heard his pair of collaborations with another Scottish music, producer Sam Gellaitry. His silky voice paired with Sam’s bouncy production was a brilliant fit but it’s been nearly two years since those dropped. And we hadn’t gotten ANY new music from Connor since; that is until today of course.
Sam has been doing his thing on the solo tip, dropping 3 EPs, the latter two being released through XL Recordings. Connor on the other hand wasn’t making a peep except for a seldom tweet. Luckily he wasn’t simply loathing, a lot of work was being put in and a lot was going on behind the scenes.
He’s got a lot up his sleeve and it’s about to come pouring ou as today he breaks silence with a massive new single titled “Free Fall”. The song features breakout star D.R.A.M. and it’s produced by one of The Weeknd‘s go-to producers Doc McKinney.
I’m so happy to see this guy return in such a grand way and as I keep eluding to, this is only the beginning. If you’re a fan of good vibes and good melodies, this one is right up your alley. Check out “Free Fall” below, you’ll thank me later.
