There’s only 9 days until we’re getting a new album from A Tribe Called Quest, in 2016! I still have a tough time believing it all with the group being very close to my heart.
They revealed the features to the album and a lot more in a new interview with the New York Times. They addressed the major concern from most fans, that this album wouldn’t include much of Phife Dawg but that premonition is all false. This album was mostly recorded before the emcee’s death in March, 2015.
The album’s titled We Got It From Here, Thank You for Your Service and it’s set to have a large range of features including Andre 3000, Kendrick Lamar, Elton John, Jack White & Busta Rhymes. Be on the lookout for the album on November 11th via EPIC Records.
