Manila Grey is one of my favorite discoveries of 2017. The Canadian duo have released a slew of singles since the end of 2016 with a consistent hazy, late night electro-R&B sound. This week, they released their debut EP No Saints Under Palm Shade. The EP was entirely produced by azel north and their consistent aforementioned sound is apparent across this EP. For me, the single ‘Eastbound’ is hands down the highlight here. It is a little be more up-tempo then the rest of the EP and is more dance-leaning. Keep on eye on this Filipino-Canadian duo as they continue to grow.
