Ironically, it seems like today, more and more artists are masking their identity. In an age where you can find out damn near anything about anybody in a few clicks, many artists are trying to push their music out and letting the rest sit in the shadows. Today, we have a debut from ELEON, a new R&B artist that has an unique electro-soul sound. ‘If It Ain’t Me’ is the debut single and the track features lush production and angelic vocals. The vocal performance here reminds me of some of the better soul artists of the past few decades. That’s one hell of an accomplishment. Hopefully, more records are on the way like ‘If It Ain’t Me’, because this is a gem.
