YellowStraps – Nights Up

YellowStraps is a trio out of Belgium that you need to keep on your radar. Originally founded by brothers Alban & Yvan Murenzi, the group added drummer Raph Stark in 2014 and have kept their foot on the pedal since. This week, the group release their beautiful new single ‘Nights Up’ featuring vocalist St. South. The production is warm with subtle electronic elements throughout. Lyrically, the track “lays out a narrative of a girl who wants more than a friendship.” There’s a fantastic mix of electro-soul and light industrial elements on this record and I’m intrigued to dig into more from the group.
