I’m always putting on for New York and drownmili is another name coming out of the city with a super unique sound. This man’s coming from the depths of the underground with a grimy sound. New York’s always been grimy but the new generation is finding a new way to express that. His song “Hit A Lick” is lo-fi as the bass clips a bit and rattles speakers and the vocals purposely are mixed in a lo-fi quality. This song really slaps in the dirtiest of ways and not to mention, drownmili can really rap. Underneath it all he’s got a pretty neat flow equipped.
