We’re headed to Texas to introduce FRITOGANG. FRITOGANG is a collective out of San Antonio, Texas that has roughly nine official members and earlier this summer, they released their first project Are You Even Listening? I was hip to the duo earlier this summer but I never got around to posting the project or it’s standout single ‘Best Friend.’ The track has an absolutely infectious hook and like the entire project, it features a mellow, 90s R&B vibe with some eccentric verses. ‘Best Friend’ features Tonsoul, Spec Kay, & Mike Stone and was produced by Spec Kay, DubbIsDope & Kardeaa the Goat. The song is really a fantastic left field pop-rap effort and it can really give a lot of songs popping off in that lane a run for their money.
