Chicago rapper Lil Zay Osama is special and he proves that once again on his brand new song and video “Survive”. He was on our 16 artists to watch in 2019 list and he has become probably the most sought after unsigned artist in the music industry right now. If you needed reassurance that he can be consistent and keep delivering, then “Survive” is even more proof of that. This video’s got the same structure as his breakout one “Changed Up” as Zay tells a story, this one being a close friend of his getting shot and killed right in front of him and the song and video is a reaction to that event.
