I slept on emawk longer than I should’ve been but now i’m a big fan of the lowkey R&B starlet. His music is literally what Spotify’s low-key playlist was made for. emawk is a sneakily amazing singer, that isn’t at the forefront because his music’s got a slow, relaxed vibe. That’s thanks in part to the mixing, especially on this song because the background vocals and even his overall delivery could make this so boldly emphatic but it still feels so relaxing. Even the production on this one is superb, particularly the evolution of it all that culminates around 3 minutes in. This song’s truly a work of art, take a listen below.
