Props to my guy Jarred, one of the best young diggers out here for hipping me to this new kid from Florida. LBS Kee’vin is his name, a rapper out of Pensacola with an effortless flow. His song “Boston George” is amazing and definitely one of the best new rap songs i’ve found in a bit. The beat on this one is ridiculous and throws in so many dope sounds from little pitched up vocal samples to guitar lick samples and a riding piano loop. That just makes Kee’vin all the more impressive and fresh in a day and age where seemingly everyone is a rapper. But truly this kid is special and this song is surely only the beginning.
