I swear so many new artists have been bold enough to stick with only their actual first name as their stage name. Natalie is another one of those. What I love about her and her music is that you really can’t put her in any box, she’s an artist that truly defies genre. She’s got an emo edge but her music is also very autotune dependent and she uses it in such a dope, experimental way. Along with that there’s hints of chopped and screwed influences and even things like Chicago house really peak through. She’s an amalgamation of a lot of things she grew up around and it’s a beautiful thing. Her latest song “Valley Of The Dolls” is definitely down that experimental avenue but oh so dope.
