I came across West Laurent today, a promising kid out of Oakland with some real promise. He’s only got three songs on his Soundcloud but there’s certainly something here. He certainly sounds like a lot of his influences still, from Juice WRLD to Bryson Tiller but it’s leading into something unique for sure. “Cherry” is such a vibrant, captivating song. Laurent shows off his skill and douses us with some real nice melodies. Definitely keep an eye on him.
