Ever since we started covering EGOVERT, I admired how much fun he had and how different he could get with his flow. There’s a big Ski Mask The Slump God influence but EGOVERT built some of those ideals into something all his own. “HEY!” has become his breakout song, an undeniable slapper with a catchy as fuck hook. It’s such a perfect example of what his style is and his homie KIL delivering a quick paced, punchline filled final verse caps it off beautifully. Now this song has been out for a bit but they just dropped the music video too that exceeds expectations. The two of them are in a lego world and it features all kinds of quirky, funny effects. A job well done Holy Manny and Nash Browin with the video. Definitely get hip to these two right now if you aren’t already.
