Oh baby Freddie Gibbs and Madlib have done it again. Quite frankly, the previous two singles leading up to this forthcoming Bandana were a little underwhelming, at least in comparison to what came before it with their Pinata album, which is basically a modern day classic now. But they’ve struck gold with this new single “Crime Pays”, which comes with some amazing visuals and Gibbs showing off how much of a character he is with the video interlude. This beat is a Madlib classic and solidifies why he’s truly my favorite producer of all time and one of the best to ever do it. Peep the new single and music video above, it’s a special one.
