There’s a ton of good music coming out of Nigeria, I’m just not the best at keeping tabs on it. I can tell you that Rema needs to be a global star. The Nigerian artist is everything we need. He has amazing melodic, pop sensibilities and such a swagger to him and I can’t get enough of his music. I’ve been running his new Freestyle EP on repeat all damn day now, it’s only 4 tracks and each one is under 2 and a half minutes but each one is incredible and catchy. He’s got the national support, being under D’Banj‘s label but it’s time for him to start to break across the world, peep the new project and join the movement.
