New Jersey’s Kid Hastings made his Fashionably Early debut last year and he’s back with a new joint. Although it is the beginning of July, ‘Mid July’ comes as one of the final singles before Kid Hastings drops his debut EP and this is a nice self-produced, bedroom pop leaning effort. The vocal performance is unique and the production lends an interesting soundscape to make ‘Mid July’ a keeper.
