Got put onto this by a friend but Brooklyn native Yianna‘s been turning ears after being feature on last week’s Fresh Finds playlist on Spotify. It’s her 3rd official song, with each one getting much better than the last. “Hard Pillow To Swallow” is a gorgeously produced song, which is what really impressed me more than anything else. The song transitions from lows to highs so seamlessly, the vocal layering is gorgeous and really all the sounds are just so clean. Yianna has a thick voice that I think can even get so much better but she’s definitely a remarkable songwriter. I can’t stop playing this one so please join me.
