Shouts to my guy Miles for turning my head to this but Steve Harrington from Stranger Things makes music, and it’s actually really damn good and not in the way you’d expect. It’s nor super edgy and artsy or very poppy like most actors seem to fall into when they also make music, this is something I can see working on a commercial level but is far from basic. His sound is certainly inspired by Tame Impala, there’s a lot of nods he takes from Kevin Parker‘s psychedelic ways, and he takes influence from them in a real tasteful way and he steal very much sounds like his own artist. I love this and more people need to be aware, show your mom or something and enjoy.
