This post is over a month overdue but it still needed to be made. LA up and comer TRACE NOVA dropped a phenomenal EP back in July called Only and his song “California” has been sticking on our ‘Fashionably Early’ playlist for over a month because it’s too damn good for me to take off. The silk voiced son of actor John Witherspoon, is super talented, especially for this being the 22-year-old’s first project. The songwriting stands out from track one to seven, Trace has a captivating voice, a flow that glides on each song and a gift for writing melodies. This is truly one of my favorite projects of the year and one of my favorite new artists. Get familiar and hit play below.
