It’s imperative, especially as a new artist trying to gain attention for each song to make an immediate impact, early on in the song. And like with this one from Brooklyn-based Middle Part, the song starts eerily but from the moment those vocals hit, there’s a beautiful clash of sound with some filthy guitar on the low-end that provides that woah moment that has got me absolutely hooked. This is only Middle Part‘s second official single but man is this guy talented. I only just came across this one yesterday but I can’t even imagine how many plays it’s going to rack up on my end. The song melds together his alternative influences but sprinkles it with indie flavor and the final product is a damn beauty. Go ahead and take a listen below.
