If artists like Aries or Zac Greer pique your interests then you’re going to be rather fond of this budding youngster Ryan Hall. The Georgia native is a drummer as well but he’s dove in head first into his own solo music this year, giving the people 17 new songs, this year alone. Ryan’s music has some real depth to it, both on a lyric side and a musical side, there’s a lot going on but it’s all melding together nicely as he really finds his voice on each progressive song. Right now “PARTYGIRL” off his new ‘CANDYCORN’ project is the one grabbing the most attention from me. It’s this dense, slightly, grungy, slightly industrial sounding song that has its angst but still gives us some real memorable pop melodies.
