James Mantis really hasn’t missed since we caught wave of his single ‘Circles’ in 2020. We’ve been consistently sharing his work and we’re happy to be covering his new EP JAB STEP POP. The project came with two pre-release singles and is really an extension of James’ bustling pop sound. There’s wide appeal to the music but there’s elements and textures that really set James apart from others. Two of my favorites from the set are “FIRE DRILL” and “SEVEN MILES”, which should stay in rotation for anyone that has taste.
