Since we covered his viral hit “TEARS” a few months ago, few hip-hop artists have grabbed our attention like Mudrigo. Adorned with a black Nike hoodie in a minimalistic Justin Afanador-directed visual, this week Mudrigo returns with the short and sweet “Lauder Freestyle”. For those of you uninitiated to the young rapper’s signature style, consider this your last opportunity to become an early fan – after all, they say the best introductions are brief. Over a bleak and cloudy backdrop, Mudrigo takes advantage of being at the video’s focal point, laying down some of the cleanest bars that we’ve heard all year.
