I literally had no idea Flau’jae made music up until a couple days ago and her whole story has been fascinating to me, it’s impossible not to be a fan of Flau’jae’s grind and work ethic
The LSU Women’s Basketball team was truly the top conversation in the news as a whole, not just the sports news during their NCAA tournament run. A big part of that championship bearing team from LSU was SEC freshman of the year guard Flau’jae Johnson, who’s no stranger to doing phenomenal things at a young age. At 12 years old she was on the Lifetime show “The Rap Game”, at 14 she was on America’s Got Talent. So it’s not like she just started rapping to capitalize on her new fame, Flau’jae has been putting in the work on two crafts for a while now. While basketball surely has gotten her more limelight than ever, she’s never slowed down with her pen and putting out music and consistently evolving and getting better. Rapping and making music is in her blood, her late father was a rapper from Savannah, Georgia, who was tragically murdered months before Flau’jae came into this world, her birth name coming from his stage name “Camouflage”.
