There’s been a slight name alteration but it’s not the first time Travy (formerly TraviS) has appeared on the Fash pages. We first came across his speaker shaking soundwaves back in 2021 but it was especially one of his most recent drops “Blockbuster” that we covered that’s been one of, if not his biggest song to date. And he followed that up with a banger of an album with features from Monjola and reggie.

The Nigerian born, Ireland bred artist continues to compel, exude emotion, and throw the unexpected in within the track. And if there’s one thing Travy is making crystal clear- it’s that he is setting the record straight, and building his vibrant musical world brick by brick, each release being a part of the huge sonic structure he’s the architect of. “Forgive Me” entices the listener, opening up with a melodic first half… then the beat-switch drives in, creating a more haunting, pulsing flow.

Not many can say they hold the first domestic hip hop records to reach No. 1 (DOGHOUSE), as well as NO. 2 (FULL CIRCLE) on the Irish Official Albums chart, as well as having co-signs from Jordan Adetunji, Rejjie Snow, Sainté, and Maverick Sabre. And though Travy can and has done before, this is still clearly just the beginning for him. As he continues to shape the sonic scene of Dublin, Travy is setting the course to really make a dent on the world far beyond Ireland.
