Labels are typically dragging after the holidays, and with the proliferation of new artists popping up across the social media platforms, exciting new talent always seems to bloom around this time. Our latest beginning of the year find is Talitha Boyd, who is a singer/songwriter out of Columbus, Ohio. She’s been releasing music since 2023, but has really seemed to find her footing on her new single “Sad Smiles”. She has a very folk pop leaning sound, and while this space is getting a bit saturated, Talitha is able to stand out with a vocal tone that’s super distinct, and some fantastic songwriting. Tapping in at only 371 monthly listeners, here’s a fresh new artist to keep a tab on.
