Flores has been releasing music for over a decade, but hasn’t released a song in over three years before she has returned with this new single “Red Dirt”. With most of her catalog firmly fitting into the indie-soul lane, this new one has a new alternative-Americana feel. The song features production from Maths Time Joy, who is mainstay producer out of the UK that typically works in the R&B space. Even with apparent influences by Dijon and Frank Ocean, “Red Dirt” truly feels fresh and the beginning of something unique. Flores is set to drop her new EP sometime this year, and we’ll be all ears after hearing this one.
