If you’re a real Fashionably Early loyalist, you may be familiar with PERRIS from us covering him back in 2020 with his song “Trauma” featuring Maiya Blaney (who is starting to have her own moment here in 2025). The Arizona based artist hasn’t dropped since 2023, but his “comeback” single “NAUSEOUS” is a really sick reintroduction to his sound. The song has a nice mix of pop, rock, and rap elements, with a hint of Kid Cudi influence without being too derivative. The poppy, melodic rap space is definitely a crowded one, so it’s really exciting to hear something cut through the noise.
