Currensy – Pilot Talk: Trilogy (Album Stream)

Today is a legendary day. Currensy’s Pilot Talk Trilogy – consisting of Pilot Talk 1,2, & 3 – is finally available for download and on streaming services once again. Back in 2010, Currensy released Pilot Talk & Pilot Talk 2 under Dame Dash’s record company DD172. According to a lawsuit after Currensy sued Dame & DD172 for $1.5M, Spitta never officially inked a deal with DD172 and actually signed a deal with Warner Bros. DD172 eventually released Muscle Car Chronicles without approval which is what triggered Spitta’s lawsuit, and after reaching a $3M settlement, Currensy regained control of the masters of his albums. After that was settled, the first two Pilot Talk albums were subsequently taken down from all legal download and streaming services.

Spitta later released Pilot Talk 3 in a merch bundle but the project was never made available on a retail scale. Thankfully, all three albums are now available for your consumption. I know I will be running through these albums again for the rest of the summer.
