We’ve seen the powers of Bandlab and Tik Tok combine hundreds if not thousands of times. The app’s made making music easier than ever and artists from d4vd to ThxSoMch took off primarily from just uploading screesn recordings of their BandLab sessions to Tik Tok. And the very latest BandLab creator that’s gone from unknown to the top of this week’s A&R conversations and meetings is RhyRhy.

Titled “Midnight”, RhyRhy flips The Neighbourhood classic “Sweater Weather” on its head with her own lyrics and her own spin on the topline melodies. It was initially the sped up version of the song that was first teased 2 and a half weeks ago that sparked the virality. The sped-up version was unfortunately flagged on Tik Tok but the original sound had racked up over 20k video creates prior to its takedown a couple days ago. But RhyRhy wasted no time and promptly got this song out on all streaming platforms this past Friday and that fervor for this song has led the two songs to over 500k combined streams on Spotify alone already.

This one’s going to go; and even if huge virality of “Midnight” is stunted by the copyright claims, this song’s putting RhyRhy on the map.
